When you make such elaborate plans for your home, you must also pay hid to the minute details. For instance, home odor is something that most of the house owners do not give that much attention. But for every house owners, the very last thing that will want from their house is a stale and musty smell coming out from it. One of the important things in home remodeling is to make your guest breathe fresh air when they are inside.
How to make your house smell clean?
Only covering up your cooking or using cloying spray and scented candle for temporarily removing the mold smells and pet odor, is not any solution. There are some stunning ideas that can keep bad odor away from your home in a natural process. Some of the basic things that you will need for this are –
- Cinnamon sticks
- Different types of essential oils
- Lemon oil
- Lemons
- Baking soda
- Vinegar
STEP 1
Place some cinnamon sticks in the drawer or on the shelves containing your linen clothes. Its smell can be subtle, but this is a natural deodorizer. These sticks can also be added to boiling water, placed on the stove, to make it a potpourri. Have you ever thought that cinnamon sticks can be used in such a manner?
STEP 2
Oil of lemon can be your natural disinfectant for a foul smell. Mix this oil with baking soda and it will form clumps. Then you can place this mixture in the actual shaker container for baking soda. What to do next? Take this container and spray the powdery material all over the carpets, chairs and sofa where your pets might lie and also in other places where you think is necessary. Once you have spread the powder, allow it to sit for around 8 hours. It will then act as foot deodorizer.
STEP 3
Using lemons is one of the commonly used odor control systems in houses. Take slices of lemon and boil them in water over the stove. The smell emitted from boiling will spread over your main room. You can then carry the steaming pot all round your house to create a refreshing smell all over. Having done that, you will definitely feel you have done spring cleaning. You will have a satisfying and an immediate effect from it.
STEP 4
House plants are another common element for having a fresh smell. Keeping houseplants is an effective way of cleaning the inside air of your home. By this, you can have some greenery in your home and simultaneously get a perfect odor removing solution. These are only a few things you can do to have a stimulating smell all over the rooms. The air is cleaned and a hygienic environment is automatically created inside the room.
